CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Charleston Southern University Athletics Department announced on Thursday a new partnership with Peak Sports MGMT to oversee multimedia rights and enhance the Charleston Southern Athletics marketing brand.
"We are thrilled to be joining into an advertising and sponsorship partnership with Peak Sports," said director of athletics Jeff Barber. "Their well-documented success with multiple institutions around the country is a testament to their professionalism and ability to drive revenue for programs like ours. The impact of our partnership with PeakSports will bring new and additional revenue to our department which will touch the lives of many, including our student-athletes, coaches, fans, students, and alumni."
Peak Sports will manage and sell all sponsorship inventory for Charleston Southern Athletics, including venue signage, program advertising, digital and web content, game sponsorships, and special events, along with several other opportunities.
"We are beyond excited to get started in North Charleston," Said Ryan Holloway, President of Peak Sports. Holloway added. "Jeff Barber has the property in a position where it'll be easy to go right in and succeed, and we look forward to helping him achieve his vision. It's an amazing day to be a Buccaneer!"
The agreement between Charleston Southern and Peak Sports, which is for five years, provides Charleston Southern Athletics with a significant financial guarantee each year and a revenue-sharing amount distributed once the thresholds are met.
