Missouri Western Athletics Extends Partnership with Peak Sports MGMT

Missouri Western Athletics Extends Partnership with Peak Sports MGMT

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — Per a new agreement, Griffon Athletics and Peak Sports MGMT will continue to work together in partnership for another three school years, Missouri Western Director of Athletics Andy Carter announced on Monday.

First beginning in April of 2019, MWSU and Peak Sports started working in tandem to bring in new sponsorships, boost ticket sales and market the world of Griffon Athletics and St. Joseph. Peak Sports will continue to manage and sell all corporate sponsorship inventory that is available with Missouri Western Athletics. This includes broadcasting rights, venue signage, program advertising, digital and web content, game sponsorships, and other special events.

The contract extension will run through the 2023-24, 2024-25, and 2025-26 fiscal years. Peak Sports President Ryan Holloway took part in leading the charge four years ago when the partnership first became official. At the time, MWSU was just the third Division II university to join Peak Sports.

As of Monday, that number has doubled to six schools under the Peak Sports umbrella.

"Missouri Western has been a special place to Peak Sports since day one of the partnership," Holloway said. "Partnering with a high-impact Division II program with some of the top facilities and staff in the country has made this partnership a success. We continue to be impressed with the leadership that Andy Carter has displayed in our time together, and we are thrilled to continue to work with Andy and his great staff in St Joseph."

With Carter taking charge of the athletic department in April of 2022, he was already pleased with the working relationship Missouri Western and Peak Sports had in place. Carter's goal now is to maintain the marketing office's success and move forward at full steam ahead.

"This is an exciting partnership between Missouri Western State University and Peak Sports MGMT," Carter said. "We have enjoyed the benefits of the past relationship and are looking forward to bigger and better things in the future. I am grateful for Ryan and Cara Holloway and all of the hard work by our team on campus; Vice President/General Counsel Kelli Douglas and Marc Archambault, vice president of Advancement and executive director of the MWSU Foundation. This agreement places us in position to see the very best days of this partnership come to fruition."

Peak Sports is known as Griffon Sports Properties in St. Joseph, headed up by General Manager Donnie Fox and Associate General Manager Logan Hayes.
